Enhancements
German B2G e-invoicing: XRechnung support for Ecosio connections
ZoneCapture now supports sending invoices and credit memos in XRechnung format through Ecosio to German government recipients on the PEPPOL network. This functionality is already supported for Basware connections; this release extends it to Ecosio-connected configurations.
Customer setup: Select the ZC E-invoice B2G Flow checkbox on the Customer record to apply the dedicated XRechnung template and validation rules.
Shared subsidiary setup: Ecosio uses the same subsidiary e-invoicing configuration for German B2B and B2G flows; no separate B2G subsidiary setup is required.
Required information validation: Before sending, ZoneCapture checks for required details, including the buyer reference (Leitweg-ID), supplier contact information, address details, and credit transfer information with an IBAN. Missing information is identified so users can complete the required fields.
Existing B2B processing unchanged: Customers without the B2G checkbox selected continue to use the existing German B2B template.
Note: This support is limited to government recipients reachable through PEPPOL. Not all German government entities participate in the network.
France e-reporting enhancements
Available for France Ecosio-connected configurations
-
Improved payment and transaction review: The e-reporting selection screen has been enhanced to make reviewing payments and transactions clearer before submission:
- Foreign-currency payment amounts: Payments in currencies other than EUR now display their converted EUR amount alongside the original amount and currency. The selected total also uses the converted EUR amounts.
- Consistent date formatting: Payment and transaction dates now use DD/MM/YYYY, matching the selected reporting period.
- VAT registration visibility: The B2B cross-border payments group now includes the customer's VAT registration number, helping users identify incomplete customer information before submitting.
-
B2C transaction classification: France B2C sales e-reporting now determines the transaction category based on the applicable VAT rate and whether the transaction relates to goods or services.
- Zero-rated and out-of-scope amounts use the non-taxable category.
- For taxable amounts, the system uses the transaction's Invoice Subtype Code, falling back to the Subsidiary Setup default when no transaction-level value is specified.
- Mixed goods-and-services transactions with non-zero VAT remain outside the supported scope and are excluded from selection and submission.
- International e-invoices included in e-reporting: International e-invoices sent by French customers through PEPPOL are now included in France e-reporting. Domestic French e-invoices remain excluded, preserving the existing domestic reporting behavior.
- E-reporting submission usage tracking: French e-reporting submissions sent through Ecosio are now included in outbound e-document usage reporting. Each eligible submission with a Sent status counts as one outbound e-invoice, regardless of the number of transactions it contains, and is reported only once. Corrections and resubmissions are counted separately.
Bug Fixes
SC-5326 | Repeated error messages during Email Plugin Setup
When configuring email plugins through the Setup Assistant, an error pop-up appeared for each subsidiary even though configuration completed successfully. This issue has been resolved.
SC-5367 | Permission errors for ZoneApprovals-only users
Users with ZoneApprovals permissions but no ZoneCapture permissions could be redirected to Zone Control Center, triggering permission errors and displaying empty dashboard widgets. Navigation and permission handling have been corrected so these users can access their pending approvals without encountering inaccessible ZoneCapture content.
SC-5507 | Missing French translations on the e-reporting selection screen
Labels and column headings on the e-reporting selection screen were not consistently translated for French-language users. The missing translations have been added.
SC-5530 | Automatic e-document sending preference not applied to new invoices
When an invoice was created through the standard NetSuite transaction menu, the Automatically send e-document checkbox did not consistently inherit the preference configured on the Customer record. The customer preference is now applied correctly.
SC-5532 | Active licenses incorrectly displayed as inactive
An active ZoneCapture license could intermittently appear as inactive on the Bill to Process page or when sending an e-document. License status retrieval has been improved to display the correct status consistently.
SC-5563 | Successfully resent e-invoices still shown as failed
After a failed e-invoice was corrected and successfully resent, it could remain visible in both the Failed and Sent sections. Zone Control Center and portlet searches now prioritize the latest sending attempt so earlier failures no longer appear as the current status.
SC-5564 | Continued status checks for rejected e-reporting submissions
E-reporting submissions marked Rejected by User continued to be checked for status updates, creating repeated notifications and errors. Rejected submissions are now excluded from further status checks.
SC-5565 | Vendor bill creation blocked by AP Payments permissions
For subsidiaries configured with TransferMate, AP Clerks without access to AP Payments records could encounter an error when creating vendor bills. These users can now create bills through native NetSuite and ZoneCapture without requiring access to AP Payments records.
