General Information

Version 2.6.0 was released on the 1st of December and contains a subprocessor change, major enhancements, and several bug fixes. Below you can find more information related to the changes introduced in the new version. We will update your live account automatically and the sandbox account can be updated from the customer's end at any given time.

Enhancements

GenAI automated field population

The 2.6.0 release introduces a significant change in how ZoneCapture interacts with expense line-level fields on the vendor bill. The brand new GenAI field population is able to understand the incoming transaction and the NetSuite environment. Based on this information GenAI is capable of populationing all fields fully automated without any setup.

By default, the GenAI feature is enabled and allows the user to finetune where needed. This finetuning can be done on individual vendor level, transaction level, and even field level.

The finetuning allows the end user to interact on a deeper level with the pre-populated data. For example, the user could ask GenAI the following:

Translate the data captured
Summarize data
Extract data in a specific way like adding prefixes or changing the format
Calculate time frames

Subprocessor changes

Updates that have been made to our listing of ZoneCapture Subprocessors as of 1 January 2024. We are adding

OpenAI, LLC
Amazon Web Services, Inc.
Nano Net Technologies Inc.

These subprocessors are third parties to Zone & Co that we have authorized to provide services which include artificial intelligence services, OCR data capture, and hosting. We have verified that our service providers have the required technical expertise and that they maintain our security and privacy standards. With regard to the protection of personal data, there will be no deterioration; subprocessors adhere to applicable Data Protection Laws, including GDPR. We work only with trusted service providers.

Bug Fixes

SC-2671 Form layout shifted when 3-way match is enabled

In certain scenarios, a shift in the vendor bill form layout was encountered when the 3-way matching feature was enabled. This resulted in a page where the user had to scroll to the right to see all fields. This release resolves this issue so that the form is displayed as expected.

SC-2679 ZoneCapture is active while there isn't a valid license

When a user didn't have a license or an inactive license ZoneCapture allowed the user to still use the SuiteApp. This version implements a correct license check so that the SuiteApp will only be allowed to process transactions when a valid license is present.
