This article outlines how to log into the portal for the first time, explains the default user roles within the ZoneCapture Vendor Portal, and provides step-by-step instructions on how to assign them.

Initial Login
After successfully deploying the Vendor Portal in NetSuite, the designated administrator must activate their account before they can begin setting up the rest of the team.
Check your inbox for the portal activation email (this is triggered automatically once the NetSuite Setup Assistant is completed).

Click the Activate Account link provided in the message.
Follow the on-screen prompts to create your secure password.
After confirming your new password, the system will route you to the main login page.
Enter your credentials to officially log in and access your Vendor Portal Dashboard.
Introduction to User Roles
The Vendor Portal comes with three default user roles for your internal team:
Admin
Vendor-approver
User
Each role comes with a specific set of permissions. Before assigning a role to a user, please review the permission tables at the bottom of this article to ensure they have the appropriate level of access.
How to Configure User Roles
User roles are managed directly within the Vendor Portal interface. To add users, follow these steps.
Log into the Vendor Portal.

Navigate to the Users menu.

Under the NetSuite Users section, locate and select the user you need to grant access to, then click Invite.

Select the role, then click Invite.
To assign or update a role, follow these steps:
Log into the Vendor Portal.

Navigate to the Users menu.

Under the Active Users section, locate and select the user whose role you need to update.
Set the correct role for the user and save your changes.
